Mood Trend ("we," "our," or "the app") is developed by Midori. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By using Mood Trend, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
What We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information
- User IDs from external authentication services (e.g., Google)
- Email address
- Nickname
- Profile icon
User-Inputted Data
- Mood scores and records
- Notes and daily entries (Premium feature)
- App usage preferences and settings
Health Data
- Step count data (from Apple Health, with your permission)
- Sleep data (from Apple Health, with your permission)
Health data is only accessed when you explicitly grant permission through your device's health data settings. We never access health data without your consent.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide mood tracking and visualization features
- To sync your data across devices via your Google account
- To generate mood graphs and reports
- To overlay health data on your mood graphs (when enabled)
- To improve the app experience through anonymized analytics
Data Storage
Your mood data is stored both locally on your device and in the cloud via your Google account for sync purposes. Cloud data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices provided by our infrastructure partners.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only shared in the following circumstances:
- Export: When you explicitly choose to export your data as PDF or Excel files.
- Family Watch: When you explicitly enable the Family Watch feature and invite specific people to view your mood graph (Premium feature).
In both cases, sharing is always initiated by you and never happens automatically.
Third-Party Services
Mood Trend uses the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:

Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time from within the app. When you delete your data, it is permanently removed from both your device and our cloud servers. If you wish to delete your account entirely, you can do so through the app's settings.
Children's Privacy
Mood Trend is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
